Blessing Mankind 2021 took place from the 12th to the 17th of July 2021. The week-long event took place in Utako District of Abuja, Nigeria.
A total of 10 units were operational during the week-long clinic. The units included Nursing, , Ophthalmologists, Dentistry, Surgery, Pharmacy, Laboratory, Registration, Counselling, and Welfare. The breakdown of responsibilities for the event is as follows:
Six hundred twelve (612) people were captured for registration for health care. The figure far exceeds this number (over 1000 souls), especially for welfare donations where there was difficulty controlling the crowd.
Eighty-four (84) facilitators volunteered to attend to beneficiaries.
Nine (9) volunteer doctors, including two (2) surgeons and an ophthalmologist, offered medical care and surgeries.
Two (2) volunteer nurses (matrons) monitored and screened the beneficiaries.
Two (2) volunteer pharmacists oversaw drug dispensing
Two (2) volunteer laboratory scientists ran our in-house laboratory.
A Dental hygienist was paid to offer dental services.
A dentist offered dental care.
